On Sunday 30 May, we had a lovely brunch at DS Coffee House Cafe and met some locals who are interested in helping us get Lightwood going again. We now have a plan!
Friday 4 June from 7pm join us at Kraken Hall (in the Hobart showgrounds) for the monthly heavy tournament. Meet some more medieval people and see a bit of how the wider Barony operates. Also present: the new Brewers’ Guild.

Sunday 6 June from 10am we’ll go in convoy to Kraken Hall for their archery and A&S day. Meet more people and see more of how we work.

Saturday 19 June from 10am we’re having an A&S day at the Geeveston Community Centre Inc (GeCo).
Activities:
- basic garb making (bring sewing machines if you have them, also fabric)
- boffer sword making
- a boffer “tournament” for the kids
- heraldic consulting, talking about choosing a name
- maybe some singing.
Bring food NOT to share (because of Plague) or else pop in to Masaaki’s Sushi or the Geeveston One Stop to pick up some lunch.
